Arrived Safely!

We have arrived safely in wet wet London! We had no idea that when we arrived London had just received an entire months worth of rain in ONE night. All the trains were delayed and it was IMPOSSIBLE and quite dangerous trying to fit into them. There were throusands of people pushing and getting stuck in the doors. Proved pretty difficult with our massive packs on our backs! We were thinking 'oh my gosh is this what it's going to be like!' Thank goodness we found out it was due to flooding.  This didn't help that all the commuters needed to be home to vote (I'm sure you've seen the news). Our Airbnb accommodation had emailed us to let us know that he couldn't have us anymore. It took us a long time to find somewhere within our budget, finally found a place for the week! We have been to our appointments with our consultant to sign contracts and get all our information sorted. He has organised our bank appointment to set up accounts too. We are spending this wee...

New York + Hello LONDON

Hey everyone! We have had a few busy days in New York ( we caught a bus from Washington DC). We've been staying in Bayonne which is actually in Jersey City..so it's been about an hour train/subway/bus (there's so many options!) into Manhatten. But that hasn't mattered as it was a cheap room. Tonight we went to a New York Yankees Baseball game. They didn't do very well, and we both thought the game was pretty boring. However it was still an awesome experience!  Tomorrow we fly out at 11pm US time to London. We can't believe it's been 6 months of travelling. Here's a few pics from the last few days. Love us xxx

Washington DC

Hey Family and Friends! We've had an awesome couple of days here in Washington DC. Packed full of walking and activities! We arrived back at our Airbnb at 7pm just before the big storm that's happening right now. Managed to work our way around the metro trains and buses today. We've been to the White House, National Monument, War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Museum of Natural History, National Zoo (panda zoo!) and the Museum of Air and Space.  Here's some snaps for you:-)  Flags flying half-staff for Orlando shooting. We hope everyone is doing well and still checking the blog! Miss you all :-) Xoxo

Campervan photos

Hey! We dropped our camper off in Denver yesterday and stayed at a lovely Airbnb place. We are currently at the airport waiting for our plane to WashingtonDC.. Here's a few moments from our campervan relocation! :-)  Grace :-) xxx

$1 Camper!

Hi all! Yesterday we picked up our $1 a day relocation camper from Las Vegas..we have four days in this lovely beast and we are driving it to Denver Colorado. There's a lot more room than our dodge caravan that's for sure! It's got a full sized shower, toilet, kitchen with fridge, oven , microwave. It even extends out once parked to make more room! We fly out of Denver on the 13th to Washington DC for a few days or so. We'll then head to New York. :-) Everything is swell!  Woohoo! Super excited! Breakfast this morning made by the fabulous Grace

Las Vegas update

Hi all! We are going well in Las Vegas. Theo still making his way through some tournaments. We went to the famous Freemont Street yesterday which was interesting!! Today we booked a Campervan Relocation from Las Vegas to Denver, Colorado. For $1 a night. Seriously!  Flights from Denver to the East are cheaper so that works out for us. Plus we thought it would be pretty cool to be in a proper Campervan for three nights! It's a five berth camper-van, so we will have a lot of room compared to the Dodge!! Will upload photos when we get it. (10th). Grace xxx

Las Vegas- World Series of Poker

Well! Here we are in Las Vegas again. Theo has played in two tournaments, so far. Yesterday he did really well. I got to be a spectator! Out of 7,300 people he came 385th..pretty good for a first timer I reckon! It didn't go so well today.. The place we are staying is right across from a lovely park with picnic facilities, basketball and tennis courts so we headed out for a game this afternoon.. He's still looking pretty chuffed don't you think?...:-) The guy we are staying with let us borrow his rackets. This only lasted about 20 minutes as it was 43 degrees outside. !!!! Lots of love to everyone back home 18 days till we fly out to London..and we get to see Theo's parents, Suzanne and Richard. Can't wait!! :-) xx
