Last days in Omis and arrival at Korcula

Hello!
We have now left Omis and have arrived in Racisce on Korcula Island. We had a lovely time in Omis, and our Airbnb host who lived above our studio was awesome- she made sure to kiss us on both cheeks saying, "you are so sweet and young!"

The day before we left we hired a boat for the day which was really great. Omis has a river leading out to the ocean so we spent half the time up the river and the other half on the ocean!

We took a ferry from Split to Korcula Island which was about three hours. A very easy process- no stress! Once we arrived in Korcula which is just beautiful, we caught a bus to the very small town that we are staying in called Racisce. It has three restaurants and one small store. I will have to google the population here, I expect it isn't very big! It is however absolutely idyllic. The perfect place to relax and unwind before the busy days of London. Our room has the most amazing view and two doors opening up to the balcony. It even has vines full with ripe, juicy grapes hanging over. The beach is minutes from us and we even found a beach up the road which is lovely and quiet. Bliss!!!

Made it to Phuket

Hi all:-) just a post to let you know we have arrived in Phuket. We are now researching into where to go from here! We think we will travel to Koh Phi Phi island today ( very famous from the movie 'The Beach' with Leonardo DiCaprio). Food market lastnight was amazing! With love <3 Grace

Pai :-)

We thought we loved Chiang Mai but we have totally fallen for Pai!! Today we were up at 7am. A difficult task these days. Headed to Pai. The road, we were told, can be very dangerous. Checked out the minivan option..heard only horror stories of crazy bus drivers, people fearing for their lives, and vomit. Hmmm. So we decided to take it on ourselves!! Hired the scooter for some extra days. Chucked our bags into a minivan (they took them to Pai for us-very handy!) and off we went!  We were very happy with our decision to drive the road ourselves, as we got to see the most stunning scenic views. Something you would not be able to see in a winding minibus. It took us a little longer than five hours to get to Pai. Pai is a lovely, relaxed little town. We are staying in a gorgeous little bungalow about ten minutes from the centre of town. The gardens are beautiful!
