Nha Trang:-)

Nha Trang has been great! A beach resort town in Vietnam. We have been here for 3 days now and have been staying at a guesthouse with the kindest host we have met so far in South East Asia. She has let us use her kitchen, which has been soooo nice to finally have a kettle for tea and coffee!

Day one in Nha Trang:

We spent the day exploring the town and relaxing on the beach. There are lots of high rise apartment buildings across from the beach and plenty of Palm trees.

Day two in Nha Trang:

We hired a scooter today, with the idea of  heading out to a well known waterfall. We aborted that idea when we weren't sure the bike would make it there..;) Instead, we went to the mud baths. A very cool day!! First, we sat in a bath while mud was poured in around us, it was actually very nice! Then we had to walk through a hydrotherapy shower, which was so high pressure that it was painful!! Finally we soaked in a hot mineral bath before a dip in the swimming pool to cool off.

Day three in Nha Trang:

Today was a highlight of our stay in Nha Trang. We spent the day on the 'Funky Monkey Tour'. We were picked up at 8.30am and headed to the port where we hopped on a boat and visited 4 islands. The staff of the boat were hilarious, they called themselves the 'best boy band in Vietnam' and we were witnesses to some very funny performances (along with them dragging Theo up to perform a HAKA!). They supplied a very delicious feast of Vietnamese food for lunch.

A fabulous day full of laughs.

Love to everyone - especially to Jean on your birthday! And Chonelle who gave birth to her beautiful daughter yesterday:) yay! Xx

Made it to Phuket

Hi all:-) just a post to let you know we have arrived in Phuket. We are now researching into where to go from here! We think we will travel to Koh Phi Phi island today ( very famous from the movie 'The Beach' with Leonardo DiCaprio). Food market lastnight was amazing! With love <3 Grace

Chiang Mai

We absolutely love Chiang Mai! What a relief after crazy Bangkok. The people here are so friendly and laid back. Apart from having to sleep on a bed as hard as a rock, and thank goodness for travel mosquito nets, everything is going well! :-) Off to explore! Grace xxx

Out of reception

Hello all :-) Just a post to let you know we may be out of reception the next few days. We are heading to an island called Koh Ta Kiev . We are pretty sure they don't have reception or Internet. We think we will be staying at accommodation called Crusoe Island. So, if contact is needed urgently, look them up (crusoeisland.asia) and they have a couple of numbers and email available. Love to you all xxx  The picture below is one of the lady's that walk around the beach with fruit on their heads. They cut it up and put it in a little bag with a skewer for you :-) mmmmmm
