India - We made it!

Hello!

Just a quick one to let you know we have safely arrived in Goa, India.

It was a long journey! After arriving in London at 3am on Friday, we stayed over at Heathrow Airport on Saturday night aswell because we had to check into our flight at 4am. We then flew to Amsterdam for a stopover before an eight hour flight to Mumbai arriving at local time 11.30pm (-4.30 hours London). We then had to wait for our flight to Goa which was at 2am and we arrived at 3am.

Our guest house wasn't open for check in until 12 so we slept at Goa airport.(I say slept, but hardly!) So we are currently pretty exhausted..

We've checked out the beach just minutes from us and just had lunch. Now for a nap..

Will update you all soon. xxx

Hello :-)

Hello Everyone! Sorry we have been away from the computer the last few days! Both Theo and I have been unwell with a bad tummy bug :-S We were trapped in our Bangkok accommodation for about three days! Luckily we were able to do some exploring before and after all of this, and we are now at the airport heading to Chiang Mai for the week. Bangkok has been pretty chaotic, we started out just off Khaosan Road which is the backpackers central. In his element ordering Thai street food (Probably what made him sick !!) We then moved to a quieter area but still close to everything. We took the boat ferry for 14 Baht each ( 60 cents ) to the Grand Palace. What a beautiful place! But as usual, packed with tourists! On the boat taxi We saw a Symphony Orchestra in the park More updates to come. Miss and love you all xxx

Travel changes and update! :-)

Hello :-) We have made some decisions in the last week and have now got some plans set in stone. Tomorrow we fly to Colombo, Sri Lanka. We had planned on staying a whole month but we are now only staying about ten days. Apparently this is a nice amount of time to see the sights of Sri Lanka and we are both keen on getting on the homestretch! Our next destination is Boracay Island in the Phillipines. We are flying there via Kuala Lumpar on the 28th of September and plan to stay for around 5 full days/7 days including travel. Not booked yet, but in the making is our flight from Boracay to Melbourne (5th October...?) We think we will stay in Melbourne and visit family for about a week and then... we are coming HOME!!! :-) See you soon! xxxx G & T
